Chemitrade Industrial Coatings (Pvt) Ltd was incepted in the year 1983 by a team of paint industry specialists with a passion for producing high quality wood coatings & industrial paint solutions. The key product manufactured by Chemitrade back then was Industrial Thinner of the highest quality which soon became popular amongst wooden furniture manufacturers in Moratuwa, a suburban city in Colombo popularized for quality wood work, furniture and the sale of wood. Gradually Chemitrade became well known in the industry with an exciting set of innovative solvent and water based paints under the flagship 'Lanco'brand name.
Lanco by Chemitrade is a brand that has proven its metal in the city of Moratuwa, the furniture and wood work hub of Sri Lanka known for the most skillful wood workmanship. Lanco is endorsed for its superior quality by all stakeholders in the industry which is also a testament to the highest quality standards set by us and the passion for paint production.
Currently our product portfolio consists of Water Based Wood Coatings, Solvent Based Wood Coatings, Auto Refinish Paints, Enamel Paints, 2KPU Wood Coatings and a range of Solvent and Water Based Wood Adhesives. Based on the ethos of our founders, Chemitrade Industrial Coatings has established a firm foot print across Sri Lanka by providing the highest quality products for over 40 years.
